ESP Escultura gótica (s. XIV) realizada en madera policromada que representa al arcángel Miguel derrotando al demonio y que corona la entrada sur de la iglesia de San Miguel de Piña de Campos, Palencia (Castilla y León, España). Es interesante observar como se representa al arcángel vistiendo una armadura completa propia de la época en la que se realizó la talla.
ENG Gothic sculpture (14th century) made of polychrome wood representing the archangel Michael defeating the devil, which crowns the south entrance of the church of San Miguel de Piña de Campos, Palencia (Castile and León, Spain). It is interesting to note how the archangel is depicted wearing full armour typical of the period in which the carving was made.
